Organizational Structure

Tuki currently has a total of 514 general members. There is at least one female and one male general member from each ward of the 30 VDCs. Among the general members, a VDC level Tuki Forum is formed in each VDC. The 30 core VDCs situated in the eastern Sindhupalchok district are further divided into six electoral regions. Each region has a Regional Level Committee (RLC) comprising of 11 members who are elected from the VDC Level Tuki Forums. Likewise, a 60-member General Assembly is formed from the elected representatives of all six RLCs (10 members from each RLC). The General Assembly elects its 13 members Executive Committee (EC) from various caste/ethnic groups and different geographic areas. It is mandatory to elect two members from each RLC in the EC. Moreover, an Advisory Committee is formed comprising of renowned persons from different fields.

The organization is working in different thematic/program areas such as Children, Education, Shelter, WASH, Agriculture, Livelihood, Health, Nutrition, Organizational Development, Research and Documentation, and Local Governance. The executive director leads overall programs/activities. Each thematic area has been appointed a coordinator or a manager to lead and coordinate the program. Other staff members are appointed as required.
